I am an experienced UKCP-registered psychotherapist based in London. I offer short-term and ongoing psychotherapy to adults and couples. Following a career in the NHS, public bodies and corporate organisations, I began working in private practice over 15 years ago.
My training is integrative which means we can use different approaches to help understand your specific circumstances. I draw on psychoanalytic, psychodynamic, person centred, CBT and existential phenomenological theory to provide a bespoke approach to therapy.
Since the pandemic, I work exclusively online. Returning clients may have attended my previous practice rooms in Crystal Palace SE19 in south east London, and Regent Street W1B and Regent's Park NW1 in central London. We can meet using Zoom, FaceTime, Skype or WhatsApp.
All sessions last for 50 minutes and usually take place at the same time each week. Sessions cost £70 and payment is made before or on the day of the session. If you need to cancel a session, please give seven days of notice or the full fee is payable. I will always offer an alternative in the same week if possible.
Sessions take place weekly or fortnightly; we will discuss this in the first session. Couples counselling costs £85. Participants may be based at one or more locations and Zoom is the preferred method of meeting. Both parties need to register at the start of therapy. The same cancellation policy applies as individual therapy.
If your sessions are paid for by your workplace or insurance scheme, sessions cost £100 per 50-minute session. Pre-authorisation is required. I currently work with AXA Health, Aviva, Vitality Health and Prudential. If your insurance provider is not listed, ask your representative to call me.
I work with counsellors, psychotherapists, psychiatrists and other healthcare and social care professionals who want to enhance their clinical practice. Individual supervision sessions cost £70. For group rates, please get in touch. All sessions take place online.
